If you have a real estate agent, he
or she will sometimes prepare the purchase offer or
contract using a preprinted form. If you do not have
a real estate agent, our office can advise you on
the steps to take in order to get a signed purchase
offer or contract. We can also give you tips as you
are negotiating to buy or sell a house so that you
can benefit from the transaction to the greatest extent
possible.
Once there is a signed real estate
contract, our attorneys work with our clients on issues
involving the contract itself, title insurance, clearing
title defects, complying with property disclosure
laws, obtaining financing, and drafting transfer documents.
Our attorneys will then accompany you to the closing
and walk you through every aspect of the transfer.
We take the time to explain each document that you
sign, including mortgage and loan documents, in order
to demystify the real estate process and to make sure
